Lauren’s grandparents’ 60th anniversary party was a nail-biter for Dylan. He’d asked Lauren’s dad permission to marry his daughter a short while before and Pops couldn’t help but tell his girl, “Well, I guess congratulations are in order!” (She chalked the kudos up to her winning a recent tennis match.) And when Lauren’s grandmother gifted her granddaughter the last pearls to finish a necklace they’d built up over decades, Grams told her to wear them on her wedding day.
