Dylan Cole & Lauren Herring

October 6, 2018

Lauren’s grandparents’ 60th anniversary party was a nail-biter for Dylan. He’d asked Lauren’s dad permission to marry his daughter a short while before and Pops couldn’t help but tell his girl, “Well, I guess congratulations are in order!” (She chalked the kudos up to her winning a recent tennis match.) And when Lauren’s grandmother gifted her granddaughter the last pearls to finish a necklace they’d built up over decades, Grams told her to wear them on her wedding day. Luckily, Lauren was still in the dark, and Dylan closed out the celebration with a big public ask. The two, who live in Greenville, South Carolina, married at Boone Hall Plantation. See their wedding on our blog.
