Paired up to work on pro bono wills at a Habitat for Humanity clinic five years ago, Liz and George spent three hours making bad puns and have been laughing together since. After walking their dachshund, Neville Longbottom, through their James Island neighborhood, George popped the question with a vintage ring. Their ceremony and reception took place in McClellanville on waterfront property that George’s family has owned since the 1700s. On the dock, his father, a municipal judge in Charleston for 25 years, officiated the wedding.
