Erin and Kaith became close friends while teaching geography at Wando High School. After five years of dating, Kaith surprised Erin with a handwritten love note and proposal, turning what Erin thought was a graduation party for her master’s degree into an engagement celebration. The two were married at South Carolina Society Hall with music by Palmetto Strings, followed by a reception with dinner from Rosemary & Rye and a table full of cookies made by family and friends that guests could take home, a nod to Erin’s Pittsburgh roots.
