Forrest Evans & Anna Basha

December 9, 2017

Charlestonians Forrest and Anna met in the third grade, though they didn’t start dating until their sophomore year at Wando High School. The two stayed together while attending rivaling universities (Clemson and USC, respectively) and dated long distance for seven years. Around Christmas in 2016, Forrest used a string of lights to spell out “Will you marry me?” and a year later, they wed at East Cooper Baptist Church. The couple celebrated with a reception at Daniel Island Club, surrounded by family and friends they’d both grown up with. They now live in Mount Pleasant.
