George Hopkins and Taylor Grimes

May 2, 2020

While a student at University of South Carolina, Taylor took a weekend trip to Charleston to visit friends and met their neighbor George, a recent College of Charleston graduate. The two began dating and Taylor, who had already made plans to transfer to CofC, joined George in the Holy City. Eight years later, on the day after Taylor’s birthday, George surprised her with breakfast from Harbinger Cafe and a proposal. The couple held an intimate ceremony at Hampton Park and look forward to celebrating with friends and family soon.
