Both from Charleston, Jason and Lauren met through mutual friends in early 2020, sharing a first dinner date at Zero Restaurant + Bar downtown. In August 2021, the two traveled to Las Vegas for a weekend trip, where an eager Jason dropped to one knee as soon as the two checked into their hotel room. This summer, a private ceremony and reception were held at Cannon Green, incorporating the couple’s four children into the wedding party. The newlyweds danced the night away with friends and family before exiting in Jason’s high school wheels, a 1962 Ford Falcon.
