John, an associate justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court, and Stephanie, a partner at Charleston’s Womble Bond Dickinson law office, met more than a decade ago at a work event in Greenville. They reconnected years later, and after some time, John proposed to Stephanie over dinner. They wed at St. Philip’s Church before enjoying a reception at Planter’s Inn. The couple lives in Charleston.
