Columbus, Ohio, residents Kelly and Jeff were introduced via mutual friends and although they started out in the “friend zone,” they quickly realized they had a deeper connection. A few years of courting later, the twosome, in New York City for her birthday, were walking back to their hotel one night after checking out the skating at Rockefeller Center. At 6th Avenue and 55th Street, they stopped in front of the Love Sculpture, and Jeff asked a passerby to take a photo of them before he dropped to one knee and asked Kelly to be his wife. They were married in the French Huguenot Church (with their lab, Hunter, who bolted down the aisle as the ring bearer) and hosted a reception at The Gadsden House afterward.
