Originally from Atlanta, Evan met Charleston resident Kelsey at a backyard bonfire in 2018 and felt an instant connection. Over the next four years, the couple moved in together and welcomed four rescues (a dog and three cats) into their family. During an excursion to Folly in January 2023, Kelsey accepted Evan’s proposal in view of the Morris Island Lighthouse. The Summerville residents were married at Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant, where a reception offered views of Charleston Harbor, Fort Sumter, and the Ravenel Bridge.
