Kenny and Kristi met at the University of South Carolina while dating other people. Years later, when single, they reconnected and, says the bride, have been inseparable since. One fur-baby, one “very long” deployment (his), and one stretch of living in separate states later, and Kenny jumped the gun on his planned Christmas proposal, surprising Kristi with a ring at home over an everyday dinner. The couple declared their “I do’s” in front of the Meeting Street fountain at The Belmond Charleston Place hotel and danced all night in the grand ballroom. They live in Florence, South Carolina.
