After a chance encounter working at a guest ranch in Granby, Colorado, Legare and Wells dated for several years upon returning to their shared home state of South Carolina. Wells popped the question at Alhambra Hall under the guise of doing a photo shoot with their pup, Kai. The two were married at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church where Legare was baptized, in an intimate, family-only ceremony. The wedding party then took a trolley to the Daniel Island Club, where the couple danced to local band Soul Fish and were sent off into the night with a spectacular sparkler finish.
