Lilly and Marvin became friends in 2010 while working on a construction site; he was the foreman and she was the administrative assistant. Recounts Lilly, “I said, ‘No sir! Do you see a ring on my finger?’” Marvin retorted by dropping to one knee and offering her a sparkler. The pair, who live in Bonneau, South Carolina, said “I do” in an intimate barn wedding that suited her white camouflaged gown just so.
