After being introduced through mutual friends, MUSC resident nurse Logan began dating Tom, a boat captain, when he moved to the area from New York. The two spent much of their two-year romance on his boat exploring local waters. On Valentine’s Day 2020, Tom proposed to Logan on Folly Beach after a romantic dinner at Rappahannock Oyster Bar. The couple held their wedding at a beach house on Folly with their closest friends and family, who enjoyed barbecue from Swig & Swine.
