Madeline and Tyler studied musical theater at Ohio Northern University, where they became close friends. After graduation, the two began dating and toured with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, traveling throughout Southwestern United States and Western Canada. One Fourth of July at My Father’s Mustache in Mount Pleasant, Madeline’s hometown, Tyler popped the question with family and friends in attendance.
