Mario and Samantha met when they were living in Chicago and became fast friends; months later, that friendship evolved into love. After nearly a year and a half together (and a move to Kansas City), Mario proposed while the two were on a ski trip at Samantha’s family’s vacation home in Michigan. Their wedding and reception took place downtown at Lowndes Grove Plantation.
