Proud Tigers Matthew and Jennifer met at Clemson University and began dating during their junior year. After graduation, the pair moved together to Charleston. Matthew surprised Jennifer with a waterside proposal near Jennifer’s hometown of New Bern, North Carolina, as well as a family- and friend-filled after party. Matthew’s grandfather married the couple at John Wesley United Methodist Church, and their reception was held at theGaillard Center. There, an artist did a live painting of the wedding celebration to commemorate Matthew and Jennifer’s marriage in an exceptionally romantic way.
