Melanie, a clinical pharmacy specialist in the MUSC ICU unit, and Christopher, a technical sales representative for Laticrete International, met on a blind date at Tavern and Table in Mount Pleasant. The pair quickly became inseparable. One evening, what Melanie thought was a casual cruise on their boat turned out to be a proposal. They celebrated with a charcuterie board from Goat, Sheep, Cow, then met friends at Halls Chophouse for drinks. Committed to their April 2 wedding date, the couple canceled their previous plans and eloped at RiverOaks Charleston in Awendaw, during a sunset ceremony overlooking the Wando River.
