Parker, food editor for the Post & Courier, enjoyed a first date with Virginia, an MUSC medical student, at Revelry Brewing. Despite their busy schedules, the pair made time for each other whenever possible, with Virginia often attending hockey games to cheer on Parker, a former goaltender for the Stingrays. Parker returned to Revelry to propose, with friends and family in attendance, and the couple had a traditional ceremony at Grace Church Cathedral. The reception at Hibernian Hall included lots of dancing and a stylish send-off, featuring a flower petal confetti exit to a vintage Bentley.
