Jean, a supply chain specialist, and Patrick, an English teacher at Wando High, crossed paths one evening on Folly Beach. After dating for three years, Patrick popped the question as they decorated their Christmas tree at home. A year and a half later, they wed at Grace Church Cathedral and were led by a bagpiper to a reception at the Riviera Theatre. They honeymooned in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, before returning to their house in Park Circle.
