After moving from England to pursue her master’s degree at The Citadel, Florence met Shawn while waiting in line at a food truck on King Street. The chance encounter kindled an instant connection, and the couple maintained their relationship even after Florence returned to England. Shawn traveled to London to pop the question amidst fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, Hurricane Florence forced the couple to reschedule their nuptials.
