Sophia and Alex met at New York University. After hitting the town, the couple would sometimes sneak into a closed park to hide away in a tree house till sunrise. Five years later, they were living in San Francisco, but went back to the tree house for Alex’s proposal. For their wedding weekend, they returned to the bride’s hometown for a rehearsal dinner at the Gibbes Museum of Art and a ceremony and reception at Middleton Place.
