Columbia natives and news junkies, Stephanie and Jacob, grew up on the same street. While working on their careers in Atlanta, the two reconnected through social media after looking at each other’s photos. After meeting for drinks and oysters one night, sparks flew and they began their three-and-half-year-long courtship. One cold December evening, Jacob wanted to take his girlfriend out to dinner. When Stephanie went to get Jacob from his house, she walked through the front door to see him down on one knee with a bottle of champagne and two dozen roses. The wedding and reception were held at Lowndes Grove Plantation and they now live in Atlanta.
