Following a chance encounter at Shem Creek, local Taylor hit it off with Nicole, who moved from Atlanta to the Holy City six months later. The following year, the two bought a house in West Ashley, and Taylor proposed during a dinner with friends at his family’s pecan farm in Albany, Georgia. Having long admired the William Aiken House, Nicole chose the venue for her dream wedding, with a ceremony accompanied by classical music from Palmetto Strings. Following a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, the newlyweds were ushered away with sparklers in a Charleston Rickshaw with a “Just Married” banner on the back.
