While Caroline was at law school at New York University and Tom was finishing up at Harvard University, the two connected at a friend’s wedding. After an eight-month courtship, Thomas popped the question while on a walk in Caroline’s parent’s neighborhood. The following year, the couple said their “I do’s” at the Daniel Island Club in front of family and friends.
