Emily was at a College of Charleston Sigma Nu rush party when she met her future husband, Walker, then a freshman, in August 2011. During their decade of dating, the couple enjoyed long romantic beach walks and exploring Lowcountry neighborhoods. Walker eventually proposed at their favorite swing on Sullivan’s Island.
