Walker Williams & Emily Thompson

June 19, 2021

Emily was at a College of Charleston Sigma Nu rush party when she met her future husband, Walker, then a freshman, in August 2011. During their decade of dating, the couple enjoyed long romantic beach walks and exploring Lowcountry neighborhoods. Walker eventually proposed at their favorite swing on Sullivan’s Island. The now-first grade teacher and project manager were married at Saint Andrews Church in Mount Pleasant, where generations of couples in Emily’s family back to her great-grandparents were wed. A cozy celebration at Alhambra Hall followed.
