Been wondering why go the extra mile for a bridal portrait shoot? While the tradition began in Southern Europe, at a time when affluent families would hire an artist to paint the picture, we’ve come...
Stirling, an emergency physician, and Brooke, a pediatric intensive care nurse, were set up by Brooke’s sister, Jennifer, who worked with Stirling while he was an intern. It was love from the start, and the couple moved in together after about 10 months of dating. Stirling got down on one knee in their Charleston home, with their dog, Lucy, by his side to pop the question. Their wedding and reception were held on a brisk winter evening at Lowndes Grove Plantation, with hot toddies keeping guests toasty.
