Abigail & Grant | The Dewberry

Back again, but this time it’s official! We fell hard for Abby and Grant’s love story back when we shared their engagement session a few months back. For a refresher, their romance began when Abby interviewed for a job at the Charleston architecture and construction company, where fate would have it, Grant worked. Abby admitted she would print blank pages all day since Grant’s desk was stationed by the printer. He got down on one knee at the same site as their first kiss, on the corner of King St. and Ann St. Their nuptials took place (not too far from their smooch site) on the most beautiful day at The Dewberry Hotel. As for a color scheme, these two opted for a classic and elegant vibe with a whimsical touch (the dusty toned roses really do the trick). On their Big Day, Grant sported a pair of flamingo socks, “twinning” with his best man, and the ushers repped a pineapple pair! The socks aren’t the only clothing we’re gushing over. Abby’s costume change halfway through the night was into a short white number, optimal for dancing with her new hubs. The duo cut into their gluten-free geometric inspired cake by ABCD Cakes, but not before enjoying their risotto bar! Genius, if you ask us. What’s next for Grant and Abby? Getting acquainted with their new pooch, Grits. How cute is that Southern inspired name? Now, all they need is a friend for Grits named Shrimp.
