Jocelyn & Bryce | Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

Jocelyn and Bryce were friends from club swim team during their high school years, but it wasn’t until Señora Hill’s Spanish class that their romance was brought to life, and the two have been saying, “Te amo,” ever since. Ten years later (after some graduations, careers, and five years of long-distance dating), a last-minute trip to see Jocelyn’s San Diego, California, girlfriends was in the works. Bryce and the gals picked the proposal spot—a cliff overlooking the ocean in Del Mar, California. One night, the (sneaky) friends suggested dinner atop the cliffs of Del Mar. On the walk to dinner, the girls dipped, Bryce took Jocelyn’s hand along a hidden path to the cliff, and before she knew it … they were engaged. To add to the surprise, Jocelyn’s family and besties were in on the plan. According to Jocelyn, Señora Hill always joked of these classmates getting married, so when it was time to send invites to their Magnolia Plantation and Gardens wedding, you can bet their teacher came to mind. “Our wedding day encompassed everything we had hoped for—a feeling of romance and intimacy as we said ‘I Do,” an energetic dance party lasting from our first dance to the last song, and genuine happiness that emanated from all of our friends and family. It was the time of our lives.,” reflects Jocelyn of their Big Day.
