Megan & Chase | The Gadsden House

It’s not like we needed it (we already live on the surface of the sun), but this wedding warms our hearts up to the highest degree. Megan and Chase exchanged their vows last fall at the Gadsden House—a gorgeous setting for a picturesque Charleston Wedding. They took design inspiration straight from the cutest little boutique hotel ever, Zero George, which also just happens to their fave place to frequent when they make the trek down from Ohio to visit the Holy City. Chase, who is a graphic designer by trade, whipped up the wedding papers and menus all by himself and boy, did he do a stellar job. And while all the ceremony details are seriously stunning (adore those glass vases marking the end of the aisle), this bride shared an extra-special moment with her father during the walk that truly made the day the most memorable we have witnessed yet. Megan’s brother was the lucky man who she walked arm-and-arm with down the aisle, as her father was seated due to his health, but he surprised her (and everyone else) by mustering up the strength to stand up and formally give his daughter away. Serious tears happening over here. It’s the intimate moments like these that make weddings so darn special to us. No doubt, this duo’s wedding date will never be forgotten.
