Jessica, the managing director of UK-based nonprofit OK Mentor, was living in New York City when she “swiped right” on Charleston-based architect Nicholas in 2018, later traveling to meet him for a first date at The Ordinary. The two visited each other on alternating weekends until COVID, growing close as they quarantined together in the Lowcountry.
