After meeting through mutual friends in 2014, Shier, a pediatric occupational therapist, and Edward, a tax specialist, started “hanging out” and never stopped. Edward proposed at a dock on Shier’s grandmother’s property on Parrot Creek, near where they went swimming on one of their first dates. After moving back their June wedding date due to COVID, the couple said their I Dos at an intimate ceremony at Saint James Church. Later, they had a small reception at St. John’s Yacht Harbor and are planning a larger celebration with friends and family at The Island House in May.
